At a glance

  • The price you see is final. All import duties, customs fees and taxes are included and prepaid by us — nothing to pay at delivery, ever.
  • Carrier: DHL Express only, fully tracked and insured, signature on delivery.
  • Processing: up to 2 business days from order to dispatch.
  • Transit: United States 4–8 business days · Germany and the rest of Europe 8–12 business days.
  • Destinations: United States, United Kingdom, Germany.

1. Delivered Duty Paid — what it means for you

Every Milano Cupertino order ships Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). In plain language: the price at checkout is the complete, final price of getting the piece to your door. We calculate, declare and pay everything the shipment owes before it ever reaches your country:

  • United States: all import duties and tariffs — prepaid by us.
  • United Kingdom: VAT and any import duties — included in your price and settled by us.
  • Germany: VAT (MwSt.) and any import duties — included in your price and settled by us.

You will never be contacted by customs, never receive an invoice from the carrier, and never be asked to pay anything to receive your order. This is a guarantee, not a marketing phrase: if a carrier or customs authority ever requests an additional payment from you in error, do not pay it — contact us at contatto@milanocupertino.com and we will resolve it directly, at our cost.

2. Where we ship

We currently deliver to the United States, United Kingdom and Germany. We are expanding deliberately — each new country is added only when we can guarantee the same duties-included, DHL Express experience. If your country is not on the list yet, write to us at contatto@milanocupertino.com and we will tell you when it is coming.

3. From our atelier to your door

Every piece is crafted by hand at our atelier in Brazil, individually inspected, and shipped worldwide exclusively by DHL Express — the fastest and most reliable international network there is.

  • Order processing and quality control: up to 2 business days. Every piece passes a final inspection before it is sealed — no piece leaves the atelier without it.
  • DHL Express transit — United States: 4–8 business days.
  • DHL Express transit — Germany and the rest of Europe: 8–12 business days.

Transit estimates begin when your order is dispatched. Most orders arrive well inside these windows; during peak periods (holiday season, major promotions) processing may take slightly longer, and we will always tell you if it does.

4. Packaging

Your piece travels in its protective suede pouch, inside the Milano Cupertino presentation box, inside a discreet, unbranded outer shipping box. Premium on the inside, anonymous on the outside — gift-ready when it arrives, and never advertising its contents in transit.

5. Tracking your order

  1. When you place your order, you receive an order confirmation email.
  2. When your piece is dispatched, you receive a shipping confirmation with your DHL Express tracking number and a direct tracking link.
  3. DHL updates tracking in real time from our atelier to your door, and in most countries offers delivery notifications and delivery-day options directly through their app and website.

If your tracking has not updated for more than 3 business days, write to us — we monitor every shipment and will already be on it.

6. Customs clearance

We prepare the full customs documentation and prepay all charges before your order arrives in your country. Clearance is handled electronically by DHL in almost all cases, with no action required from you. Very occasionally, customs authorities perform random inspections that can add a day or two — this is normal, outside anyone’s control, and never generates any cost for you. The only contact you should ever receive from DHL is about scheduling or delivering your parcel.

7. Delivery and signature

Because every parcel carries fine jewelry, DHL Express collects a signature on delivery. If no one is available, DHL will attempt redelivery or hold the parcel at a service point for collection, following local DHL procedures — you can manage this through their notifications. For your security, we do not ship to P.O. boxes; please use a residential or business address where someone can sign.

8. Your delivery address

Please double-check that your address is complete and correct at checkout — including apartment or unit numbers. If you spot an error, email contatto@milanocupertino.com immediately: we can correct the address any time before dispatch. After dispatch, changes depend on DHL’s rerouting options and cannot be guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout, though we will always do everything we can to help redirect the shipment.

9. If something goes wrong in transit

  • Every shipment is fully insured by us until it is delivered. Risk in the goods passes to you only upon delivery — in transit, the risk is entirely ours.
  • Damaged on arrival: email contatto@milanocupertino.com with photos of the item and the packaging, and we will send a replacement or a full refund — your choice, at our cost.
  • Lost or severely delayed: if your order does not arrive within the expected window, contact us and we take over — we open the investigation with DHL, and you receive a replacement or full refund without waiting for the carrier’s process to conclude. A lost parcel is our problem, not yours.
  • Returned to sender: if a parcel comes back to us as undeliverable, we contact you immediately to arrange reshipment or a refund.

10. Multi-item orders

Orders with several pieces normally ship together in a single parcel. In the rare case an order ships in more than one parcel, you receive tracking for each — and for consumers in the EU and UK, the 14-day withdrawal period only begins when the last item of the order is delivered.

Frequently asked questions

Will I really pay nothing at delivery — even in Germany?
Really. VAT and any duties are already inside the price you paid, and we settle them with the authorities before delivery. If anyone asks you for money to release your parcel, that is an error — contact us before paying anything.

Where does my order ship from?
From our atelier in Brazil, where every Milano Cupertino piece is handcrafted. It ships DHL Express — which is why a piece made in Brazil reaches New York, London or Berlin in days, not weeks.

Can I change my address after ordering?
Before dispatch, yes — email us right away. After dispatch, we will try to reroute through DHL, but it cannot be guaranteed.

Do you ship to P.O. boxes or parcel lockers?
No — DHL Express requires a physical address with a signature. This protects your piece.

What if I am not home?
DHL attempts redelivery or holds the parcel at a nearby service point — you control this through DHL’s notifications and app.

My question is not here.
